1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and ghar4rent.com ("Company", "we", "us") governing your use of the Ghar4Rent website and related services ("Platform").

By registering an account, purchasing credits, or browsing property listings, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, legally competent to enter into contracts under Indian law, and agree to these Terms.

Ghar4Rent is an online marketplace that connects property seekers with property owners in Hyderabad, India. We facilitate:

• Listing of residential and commercial properties for rent, sale, and lease.
• Discovery and search of verified property listings.
• Unlocking of owner contact information through a credit-based system.

Ghar4Rent is an intermediary platform. We are not a party to any transaction between property owners and seekers. We do not own, manage, or guarantee any property listed on the platform.

4. Credit System

Access to owner contact numbers is provided through a prepaid credit system:

• Users must purchase a credit package before unlocking any contact number.
• Each contact number unlock deducts a fixed number of credits from your balance.
• Credits are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash except as described in our Refund Policy.
• Purchased credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
• Prices for credit packages are displayed at the time of purchase and are subject to applicable taxes.

5. User Accounts

To use core features of the platform, you must register an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your password and not share account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used fraudulently.

6. Property Listings

Property owners and agents who list properties on Ghar4Rent agree that:

• All listing information — including property details, photos, and contact numbers — is accurate and up to date.
• They hold the legal right or authority to list the property.
• The contact number provided is genuine and reachable.
• The property is not already rented/sold at the time of listing unless the status has been updated.

Ghar4Rent reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these Terms or is reported as misleading without prior notice.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent property listings.
• Use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm any other user.
• Attempt to bypass the credit system by scraping or extracting contact numbers through automated means.
• Create multiple accounts to exploit free credits or promotions.
• Upload content that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Use the platform for any purpose unlawful under Indian law, including the IT Act, 2000.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Ghar4Rent platform — including the logo, design, code, text, and data compilations — is the property of ghar4rent.com and is protected under Indian copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written consent.

By submitting property listings or photos, you grant Ghar4Rent a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and promote that content on the platform.

9. Disclaimer

Ghar4Rent provides its platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or currency of property listings.
• The suitability or condition of any listed property.
• The behaviour or reliability of property owners or seekers.
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform.

Users are advised to independently verify all property details, conduct site visits, and exercise due diligence before entering into any rental or purchase agreement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Ghar4Rent, its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.
• Any disputes between property owners and seekers.
• Loss of data, profits, or business arising from platform downtime.

Our total liability to any user, in any event, shall not exceed the amount paid by that user for credits in the 30 days preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any grievance amicably before initiating legal proceedings.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to the platform at our discretion, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Unused credits at the time of voluntary account closure are subject to our Refund Policy.
